I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU (Isaias 49:15)
YO NO ME OLVIDARE DE TI (Isaias 40:1)
Dear Families,
YOU are the reason why I do what I do, and do so with so much love! Therefore I am so grateful for your interest in my walking alongside you and allowing me to serve you in your journey through music, whatever the occasion. I look forward to connecting to discuss how can I best support you musically, with a couple of important points to make our partnership most blessed and fruitful:

First, it is very important to first ask permission and speak with your Pastor, Music Director, Funeral Home Coordinator and whoever else is in charge about guidelines when it comes to bringing outside musicians, honoring whatever decisions those in charge make at all times. If my visit is approved, I would be working closely and attentively with those leading the process as a true partner to ensure my contributions are positive, in full compliance with all rules, guidelines and highest standards respectfully and gratefully always in a collaborative and prayerful spirit. My visit would be in the spirit of a helper / collaborator at their service too, and someone they can lean on if/when needed after.

If the request is not approved, it is important to honor that, remembering that there are multiple places for music to add that special touch while still honoring their guidelines. For instance, a church may not allow visiting musicians but the funeral home or cemetery would, in which case we can do something at the funeral home or burial site. We can explore ideas as to what that might look like that will honor everyone you are working with and in the meantime this blog article might spark some thoughts too.

You are also welcome to partake on other resources I have been or will be sharing here and through my other pages, radio program, social media channels, and talks which I pray will bless you!

Queridas familias:

LIFTING UP HEARTS
We were lifted up!
Marta's music and the loving care that comes across in every note lifted up and brought peace to my family during our difficult time of loss and grief. (Virginia V)
MADE OUR DAY SPECIAL
Every time we hear Marta sing, we feel tenderly enveloped by each note, making every event at which we've heard her sing, including a family funeral, extra special to the point there was nobody else we could think of to book to sing on our wedding day. (Tracy and John W.)
TURNED TEARS INTO HOPE
I booked Marta to sing at my mom's wake at the funeral home, then thought to ask her if she could address my family as well and, WOW. What followed was so beyond my highest expectations. The conversation she facilitated turned tears into hope in no time flat and had us ALL singing at the end. Thank you Marta! (BeeBee I.)
DIDN'T NEED MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT
We booked Marta to sing at a special private Mass and asked her if she would mind doing the Mass A Capella. She didn't hesitate and jumped right in with both feet, and we were so glad to have asked as the beauty and emotion in her voice needed no other music accompaniment to touch the hearts of everyone who attended. (James R)
